Vintage photo album with ornate cover. Believed to be leather cover with gilt detailing. The page edges are gilded and embossed. Front page is labeled as: Harding's universal photograph album. There is a small note on the inside cover that says: book cover patented July 5th 1864, October 17th 1865. Measures approximately 6 3/4 x 6 x 3 inches. Each page measures approximately 5 1/4 x 6 5/16 inches. Opening measures approximately 2 x 3 3/8 inches. To fit 50 cdvs. There is some damage and some wear and tear. The spine is missing. The pages are still bound together though. The metal clasps are still intact and working. Some tape pieces to the pages.
