THIS LETTER IS A CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN MR. WATSON AND A MR. BOOS. WRITTEN IN MONTPELIER, VERMONT ON MAY 7, 1928. MR. WATSON EXPLAINS THE TIME HE WAS WOUNDED IN 1864 AND TAKEN TO WASHINGTON, DC TO ATTACH THE BAKERS BARRACKS GENERAL HOSPITAL. IT WAS THERE THAT HE BRIEFLY SAW PRESIDENT LINCOLN AND HE REMEMBERS IT FONDLY. THE LETTER IS IN EXCELLENT COSMETIC CONDITION. THE FOLDING LINES CAN BE SEEN AND THE INK ON THE WOOD "DEAR" BLED JUST SLIGHTLY. GREAT BUY FOR AN AUTHENTIC PIECE OF AMERICAN HISTORY!
